Maryz and Vidhu (aka SuryāChandra) have been holding kīrtan—call-and-response chanting—together for nearly three decades. Often in collaboration with other musicians, they have produced several mantra recordings and led hundreds of kīrtan gatherings, yoga sessions accompanied by sacred music, and sound healing journeys across Canada and internationally, including in the United States, Thailand, the Netherlands, Nepal, and India. Their chanting is accompanied by harp, guitar, Italian mandola, and dumbek, creating a rich musical experience grounded in the gentle presence of silence and meditation.
