Stage 1 / The Initiation

The Awaken as Love Initiation is a journey open to everyone – it begins with a choice to go on an adventure that will expand you beyond the boundaries of your current existence. What will it bring to you? More awareness, more love, more inclusion, more juice to your life and more depth if you allow it.

This first stage is called “Initiation” because if you choose this then all your experiences up til now have led you to this point and you are obviously ready to step into a wider reality – in doing so you enter fresh and new, open to discovering more.

As you step into this journey you will encounter maps that help you understand the larger world and your place in it (this is beyond your imagination), tools which help you to play more fully in this world, embodied experiences which help you to anchor a new reality and finally ongoing resources which help to integrate and incorporate this into your life.

During this course you will be held by 3 of the Awaken as Love faculty (and a full team of assistants) – they each come from different backgrounds but all are inspired to facilitate the evolution of humanity.

James Stevenson

Lead Instructor

James’s passion is to help call forth our human potential and our soul. His weave brings together more than 20 years experience in techniques, practices and information from the cutting edge of Neuroscience, Tantra, Biodanza, Shamanic & Energy Work, Integral theory and Taoist practices to create a spirituality that is rooted in the body. His evolutionary approach is to work on all lines, levels, states and parts of ourselves in bringing forth our fullest potential.

His work in meditation and tantra work draws on many different traditions and paths he has studied from Kashmir Shaivism, Baul mysticism, Advaita Vedanta, Vajrayana Buddhism, Integral systems and Neo-tantra. He was very much influenced by the enlightened master Osho and enjoyed spending time in Pune and the Humaniversity where he became an AUM meditation leader.

His shamanic work includes being Vision Quest rites of passage guide, holding Sweatlodge Ceremonies as well as Sacred Cacao Rituals. He has been dancing Biodanza since 2003 and now works as a teacher and a didactic teacher (qualified to teach other teachers in Biodanza Schools). He was also faculty in the International School of Temple Arts faculty and the Regional Organizer for Asia but moved on to found the Awaken as Love Mystery School www.awakenaslove.com.

Taina Ixchel

Instructor

Taina Ixchel, MA, is a Shamanic and Tantric Power Priestess, Facilitator, Coach, and exquisite Latina goddess queen. She helps people become more powerful and magnetic, create deeper connections with themselves and others so that they can have more fulfilling lives. In addition to being a medicine woman, Taina has a Master’s Degree, is a Tantric Counselor, a certified Energetic Relationship Practitioner, Holistic Health and Wellness Coach, and a Theta Healing Practitioner. She’s been practicing Tantra for over 10 years since she was initiated into one-on-one esoteric training with a Master who told her it was her destiny to teach this Love.

For over 4 years, Taina has been teaching Tantra, hosting workshops in San Diego, internationally, and virtually. She also facilitates regular Red Tent: Sacred Priestess Circles for womxn to create community and embody the Divine Feminine. Taina also offers private empowerment life coaching and Tantric or medicine healing sessions. Taina truly embodies pleasure and play as a path to healing, freedom and living a joyful life and specializes in helping others express their highest, most loving, magnetic and playful selves. Amerai Carrera

Instructor

Amerai has more than 15 years of recognized experience in Spain, guides her students on a magical and healing journey to the deepest part of the being on the path of self realisation. Her method offers a combination of Tantra, Neotantra, Shamanism and Personal Growth Psychotherapy accompanying people to feel the opening of their heart, unconditional love, inner movement, kundalini awakening, yoga, meditation, integrating innerchild work, and the fusion of sexual energy with spirituality and sexual healing in all its amplitude. She also helps people to transcend the psychological issues which are carried as a result of cultural conditioning and past experiences. It’s an integral and holistic path of metamorphosis in which love and consciousness facilitate a full awakening towards your full potential as a human being.

Amerai has been trained as a Tantra and Neotantra teacher in different internationally recognized schools, such as: Awaken as Love School with James Stevenson, with Margot Anand at Skydancing School in France, with Diana and Michael Richardson: Neotantra for couples in Switzerland, with Charles Muir at Source School of Tantra Yoga in California, with Saul Martinez: Traditional Tantra and Yoga in Spain, and with Carlos de Leon: Traditional Tantra and Love, couple and Liberation modules in Mexico. As a yoga teacher with Sivananda Yoga at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat, Paradise Island (Bahamas).

How can this advance me working in these areas?

There are a few ways in which this training will support you in your journey as a guide, teacher or practitioner. It is an accredited course from Awaken As Love – you will recieve a certificate on completion and you can state that you have completed this training on your personal biographies.

You will also be eligible to attend the next levels – Deepening & Radicalization to eventually become an Awaken as Love Facilitator.

In addition you will be gaining direct tools that you can then use in your own workshops and practices as well as a deeper understanding about how to work with groups – and meeting a larger international network of practitioners and teachers to create and stay in on-going connection. We routinely give opportunities to Awaken as Love graduates to be part of the festivals we create.

This training is designed to jump start your expansion into this level with the mission of helping that 10% to emerge.

The Venue: Sohum Spiritual Resort

Meals

Breakfast and Dinner are inclusive of the accommodation price and fully vegetarian although we do consume dairy products and eggs. There is a great selection of Indian, Continental, Chinese, Italian and Mexican cuisines. We use organic vegetables, pulses/legumes, grains and oils as often as possible.

There is a long lunch break in the training which gives you time to explore the surrounding area, sunbathe and visit the different restaurants on the beach.
